Hanmer 2018 August 4th & 5th

Hanmer in the Upper Half of the South Island has been the destination for many tourists for a long time, so too it has been a destination on the Datsun Calendar for many years. We have had a Mid Winter "Stay-over" Cruise to Hanmer regularly, taking advantage of the Hospitality and Hot Pools which makes Hanmer so special.
Hanmer is a great drive from Christchurch and in recent years this drive has been enhanced by taking in the Picturesque and very enjoyable Leader Valley. Grab yourself a bed for the night and join us for an enjoyable weekend away in this Idyllic Destination.

Last Years Itinerary:

Meet up at The Peg, West side of Main North Rd at 9.00am
After meet and greet etc, depart at 10.00am
Head North up to Leader Road then through to Waiau
Stop at the Rotheram pub for lunch
Then off to Hanmer Springs
Then a swim at the pools for those who so wish
Dinner will be at Saints at a time TBA

Breakfast the next morning at the PowerHouse, then we head home from there.

Location for the lunch meet up has been revised to Huranui Pub. - therefore not taking the Leader valley on the way to Hanmer.
Tea Venue TBA on the day, Once we know the name of it.
Should be a good drive.
