weight of a 1500 engine?

Hi all, just wating to know the weight of a Complete J15?, looking at sending a motor but dont have the equipment weigh. Im guessing a A12 or A15 will be very similar so they will do if nobody know the weight of the J (boat anchor )

doesnt the j have a cast iron head? or is it the b-series motor? the a-series will be lighter i reckon.

yeah, the J has a cast iorn head so the a series will be lighter but similar ballpark, but yeah maybe i will have to take it to mainfrieght.

Its pretty cheap to send depot-to-depot, i sent a 4age from christchurch to auckland for $75
