280ZX Badges
Hi, I am recently the proud owner of an '83 Datsun 280ZX and It needs a few badges to complete the exterior. Does anyone have any for sale?
Re: 280ZX Badges
Welcome to the datsun family.
Did you post it up on Z forum.
Also are you keen for datsun nationals in hanmer springs during labour weekend.
Cheers

What badges do you need? I might have some.

I am missing the badges from the side front wheel arch guards. (both sides)DJZ wrote:What badges do you need? I might have some.

2. Not yet, I'll get some decent shots of it downloaded on to my PC first.
3. If I can get the engine ignition problems sorted and a fresh WOF I might just be able to make it to Hamner in October. I just picked it up last Saturday from Christchurch and drove it all the way to Balclutha in the rain and fog. It has an rb25DET in it but it has some issues with ignition under medium/heavy acceleration, the coil packs were changed out prior to me picking it up but I suspect the coil harness loom is degraded and needs replacing. Also the gearbox has a crunching problem. Will need to get that sorted before a long road trip.

Ah yup, you can still get them new off eBay for not much money, they won't be that common here.roddsteel18 wrote:I am missing the badges from the side front wheel arch guards. (both sides)DJZ wrote:What badges do you need? I might have some.

Yeah I will have a look on there.
I got an xtronic cvt badge for my X Trail on aliexpress cos I backed into my wheelbarrow handle and smashed it off but they didn't have any Datsun badges on there.

Re: 280ZX Badges
Hey Dave would be great to have you with us at the NAts. There is a bit of interest growing in the South and looks like there will be a good cruise coming through. My Sister is hoping to bring her 280ZX through from Tapanui, it is an NZ New Anniversary Model, so won't have the legs to keep up with you, but would be nice for her to cruise with another Z.
Keep an eye on the forum and on the facebook page for information and to get involved in organising the cruise up.

No they are the badges for the front wheel arch guards. I think they just say 280ZX.
