Re: NZ Datsun NATIONALS 2021 - Masterton REGISTRATION OPEN
Over the coming weeks I will be emailing out information on the Nationals.
Please make sure you have registered if you are coming at: https://forms.gle/d9Msi3Hv2EzEJpNr5
Cruise information for Sunday below, total length 216km.
1) Start at Masterton, cruise to Castlepoint where we will stop for photos and park up on the sand (if your not scared).
2) Lunch at either Tinui cafe or Whakataki Hotel (confirmation pending capacity/numbers).
3) Cruise to Martinborough for a mid arvo coffee in the Square (you can divert straight back to Masterton if this is too much of a drive for you).
4) Cruise back to Masterton via Greytown.
5) Prizegiving - location TBC (Likely Farriers where previous evening dinner is held).
Drags/Autocross:
We are all booked ready for drags and autocross. I will be emailing those who have said they will participate with an invoice/bank account number so we can sort the finances out.
We will be required to wear full face helmets (no bike/snow helmets). More information will be emailed out over coming weeks so please make sure you have registered!!

Re: NZ Datsun NATIONALS 2021 - Masterton REGISTRATION OPEN
Hi All,
The Datsun Club Committee has spent considerable time reviewing the current Covid19 status in relation to our upcoming event. Hours of organization has been put into this event and this decision has not been an easy one to make. Unfortunately, due to yesterday's government announcement, we have been put in a position where the joint (North and South) Datsun Nationals will need to be postponed.
As we have over 100 people, 40 vehicles and the possibility of additional people at any venue, we are unable to hold the event in Alert Level 2. Alert Level 2 specifies no events over 100 people; with the additional rule of no more than 50 people inside a venue.
We have put this decision off until now in hopes that the country would move down alert levels quickly & we could continue. Due to our members travelling a long way to meet in Wairarapa (including cook straight ferry crossing), we feel it is best to postpone the National event until Labour weekend 2022 to ensure no one misses out financially due to unused bookings.
We have a plan B in place, individual island events. This will keep us under the maximum 100 people limit. Plan B will be announced soon, keep an eye out on this event page & nzdatsun.com.
Thanks

Re: NZ Datsun NATIONALS 2021 - Masterton REGISTRATION OPEN
Great news Registrations have opened for this years Nationals, and yes they are in Masterton, as planned for last year. (Maybe with shorter cruises and 400m Running races, due to the price of Fuel)
