I have one Bede.
It's not actually a dust cover, it's a sandwhich plate that goes behind the flywheel, and also hangs down to the lower half of the bellhousing.
They also act as a locating device for the startermotor. Your starter will sound like shit without one.

oh realy.does in go between the bellhousing and the block?in the coupe it appears to have one that is less that a half circle kind of shape (not between the block and bellhousing)

I had a car once that had a rangi'd up dust cover, but all the non bastardised datty's I've had have had the full plate between the block and the flywheel.

I know the one your after bede, it bolts on behind the engine and in front of the gearbox and covers the ring-gear, I may have one, ill have a look tomorrow.

early a12s in 1200 sedans/coupes/wagons have the half plate/dust cover, however my 1200 ute had one as well...

I think I have a full plate you can have for free mate.
Brendan says that the thicker-ness of the full plate may have an impact on your clutch geometry, but I've always run the full plate on all my cars.
