blue box is the tierod, adjusting this will change the toe in or out, meaning the tyre will turn in towards or away from the centre of the car.

the yellow box is your lower control arm. if this is longer than your original one, it will place the hub, wheel etc further out towards the guard as bart has said.

going from the pics, it doesnt look too bad. as long as your warrant man isnt a cock, you shouldnt have problems with it. if you do, go with your old mans suggestion and get narrower tyres. as long as the tread pattern is inside the guard, they cant do shit

It's looking like the LCA's are a different length.

I have a complete RND headlight front end here ATM.

I will check it against the square headlight front end tomorrow...... I'll post up some pictures, measurements etc......

ok sweet see got the pictures up yea my problem is when ya sit in the car the gaurd sits on the wheel an is not driveable..an yea police can be cocks to an do ya 4 it too i still got all the old parts i replaced so will check them against it but when held em up to em b4 i changed it all looked the same

are you 1000% sure your new wheels have the same offset? I'm 99% sure than all b110/210/310 lower arms are the same length. (Just some have the longer bottom ball joints)

yea their the same mags.. i put my old mag back on that i have an its still the same problem sticking out from the gaurd a bit.. could try roll my gaurds or something but not to keen.. as for balljoints do you reakon thats the problem? havent measured how much the wheel sits out but id say about 20 30mm

Like you, I'm pretty sure they are all the same, just trying to eliminate the LCA's.

I had a look at all of my B310 LCA's that I have here and they are all the same and the ball joints are all in the same position.

I'm thinking something like this........ Someone at some point may have swapped over the B310 parts for B210 or even B110 parts, mixed and matched it up to work???

its hard to tell because my other gaurd is still fukd but yea can tell its the same..its really frustrating need one of you datsun guys to come check it out that knows a bit more than me about this sht fk m8 ill pay one of you guys to sort this out im just scared its not going to be going for akaroa..iv got a wheel inlignment sorted thru my dads m8 but just need this sorted to get it their my wheels are all balanced brand new tyres

just lookin at that photo with the coloured boxes off the bottom arm it almost lookes like the bottom arm is not useing all the bolt holes from balljoint to bottom arm
