Subscribing to threads

Actually I misunderstood the original post.

I thought he was talking about when creating a thread, not posting in one.

It should auto subscribe you or notify you on your own threads without needing to tick the box.

Minor issue

auto subscribing to threads has never been part of this forum.
You can set up phpBB to do that if you wanted......therefore it shouldnt auto subscribe you unless it has been specifically setup that way

Most people wont want to get an email.....your going to go read the forum anyway.

so its not an issue at all.

For anyone that does wish to use the feature tho.......it does work, and feel free to use it.....just tick the box when you post

Just looked in the User control panel.......and if you want to auto-subscribe to threads.....then you can set it up to be default in your user settings.

Go to "User Control Panel" (top right of the forum)......then click on "Board Preferences"......then "Edit posting defaults"......then just tick the box to auto notify you of new posts
