Subscribing to threads
Subscribing to threads
Whenever I post in a thread it appears that it doesn't auto subscribe me so I never get notified that there are new posts, is this normal? If I had the subscribe button it works.

Re: Subscribing to threads
It doesnt auto subscribe for me either. But when you first create the thread there is an option to subscribe just above the submit button.
Either that or as you prob already know you can then subscribe when looking at your post in the thread.
But still it caught me out at first too.

Re: Subscribing to threads
Actually I misunderstood the original post.
I thought he was talking about when creating a thread, not posting in one.
It should auto subscribe you or notify you on your own threads without needing to tick the box.
Minor issue

Re: Subscribing to threads
I would hate it if it auto subscribed me to every thread I started.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Re: Subscribing to threads
Many forums I frequent work that way.
Also remember you only get ONE email to say there are posts on a thread until you next visit, not one for every post so it usually is not an issue
All goods either way.

Ahh I see, that's alright. It auto subscribes you on most of the other forums I visit which is pretty handy when you don't look at them every day.
Thanks guys!
