Re: Sound proofing and insulating your Datsun
isn't dynamat a bit heavy? That'd be the only drawback of using it. Damons ute is well soundproofed, it rides like a dream.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Well Dynamat Extreme is much heavier (2.20kg/m2) than the stuff I am using (1.225 kg/m²) but the Dynaliner stuff is much lighter ranging between 0.21kg/m2 and 0.82kg/m2 depending on thickness.Bartman wrote:isn't dynamat a bit heavy? All in all though, the stuff I am using would do at least 90% of the job that Dynamat does and by the looks of current pricing, at almost 1/4 the price.
I have been happy with Autodrohn Platte in the past so will continue to use it.

I got it from these guys:
http://www.rjpaterson.co.nz/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
From the Nelson branch but the CHCH branch should sell it. May be a business local to you selling it though so check the pain and panel suppliers (Not paint shops but the suppliers to them)
