wouldn't know for sure until I had a look at the door itself, would just be a time and material thing, doesn't look too awkward

You haven't seen the other side lol.the frame itself is fairly straight. It seems the b pillar took the worst of the hit. Followed but the hinges. Where about are you based?

The beddy is a rescue job, cab only, as was the transit, the plan it to graft the two together then chop drop and channel the Bedford to give it a bit of style. That was before I realised the transit is uni body not chassis under. So looking for some advice on that 1 too lol. Still at the moment it only owes me $50 for 2 new tail lights on my trailer.

We also live in a bus full time, a Leyland Bristol Hoff. 510ci turbo. Which we are doing up so the 3rd project.
Do you need any of the front sheet metal for the transit, mine is a little rough but mostly rust free and i have a few other bits I wont be using

lol, parts would have been good a wee while back, its a job for a customer, have removed all the rust now, and am onto the fitout, this one has slideing doors, and needs a side window for the passenger door.

sounds like you have plenty of work ahead.

Not much work done this weekend. Spent an hour or so trying to get the timing right. But it doesn't want to no. Keeps backfiring through carb. I am going to pull the cover off and have a look at the valve clearances next.
Any other ideas?

sounds like 180deg out?
pop the number 1 plug and put a screwdriver down the hole and hand crank to confirm where TDC is on #1 and then work your way from there. timing BTDC....plug order.... etc etc

Sorry for the lack of updates.
Its been a busy few weeks, and I have to admit the Datto has been on the back burner. I had to put the new chippy in our bus and helped my father in law move which was a mission with 18 projects to move.

I did find some time to do some work on the bluebird, I set the valve clearances, plug gaps and timing. But still can't get it to run right. Keeps backfiring through carb, think the carb needs resetting. Does any one no a good starting setup for the Nikki carb
