So this weekend has been mcmassive for Dan and I and With alot of help from Brocky. We took the car to the soda blasters just past Swannanoa.... With the car still on rotisserie as a bare shell was a bit tricky but we managed..... Just.....

So here are a few pics to have a squize at.

If anyone is ummmming about soda blasting we found this guy awesome, did a fantastic job, the body came up beautiful, so helpful even with the prep for priming allowing us to use his stuff. He even did a bit of extra work at no charge. Were absolutely rapped

At the moment he is charging $150 an hour. He did 6 or 7 hours but only charged us for just over 5 ($800). It is expensive but I think I would do it again if I needed to.

The result is a-m-a-z-i-n-g so we are happy with the price and outcome. Plus now we know we have dealt to the little bit of rust thats under the paint and that it shouldnt return or bubble ( fingers crossed)

Man that rear parcel tray panel round the back screen is the most rust free example ive ever seen looks like you have a nice shell to start out with from there.

Yeah the whole car is pretty rust free just a few little spots, nothing major.
