Pips datto project - 1973 Datsun 140J sedan

Pip (my wife) has bought herself a 1973 140J sedan (the deceased estate one Flauski advertised).....looks like a good buy, good solid base to start with, with most of the car in pretty good condition.
I flew up to Hamilton to pick it up, and drive it back to chch for her (crazy trip) read about the trip on this link!

We have a CA18DE sitting in the garage waiting to be put in (after we get it re-vinned) , so once its re-vinned, it'll get a CA18DE+T engine conversion

We have done extended the driveway, so that we can have her car parked up, while still being able to get my car out of the garage (priorities right? )

and today, we started stripping as much of the car as we could, whilst keeping it waterproof as its not in a garage, then soon realised we needed more space to store stuf......so went down to placemakers and bought a bunch of timber, and started making a new bench/shelf to stick all her 140J bits on.
Also bought it a shiny new car cover lol

Oh yeah.....she plans to bring it on next years Akaroa cruise....unlikely to have the CA18 by then, but hopefully should be re-vinned and painted by then
