True Greg drove it around today to get stuff sorted for WOF,Even drove though a red light in front of a cop.He didn't even care. Also drove out to Brocky's place to pickup a front head light. It does get alot of looks but then you kinda hear it before seeing it.I love the sound of the Weber's and the exhaust tone.I don't even need the radio on anymore

So i finally got some old jappa wheels for the datto. They are 14x8 -12 offset ENKEI wheels. Also got some 89mm HKS pistons for my L26 stoker motor so i will be building that motor soon
Just got the car back from my mate who is a panel beater,so she is almost ready for paint.

I don't think an L26 block will have enough meat to bore to 89mm.

Should be fine,But if not I'll have to use the L28 motor in the car

Got my pistons today,Most likely to take them and the block down to the shop next week,There is tons of meat in the L26 block.L28 is most likely a bored out L26 (same stoke bigger bore)Any ways that's up to the engine builder as he would know best.I'm not chasing big power, just some thing that rev's better with out losing too much low end power,so having a bigger cube will help.I will put bigger cams, port and polish as its cheap to do so.

So i stripped the L26 and its ready to take to the engine builder tomorrow along with the pistons.Hopefully this block is all good to use.(If not I'll look in to the cost on getting it sleeved) A lot of you guys would say just use the L28 i have and i would agree. But this Motor is the original one with this car and i would like to keep it that way, plus it makes it easier getting WOF's
