Ok, I got some engine mounts from hrspwr aka Craig aka Pro Parts Hawkes Bay. That should keep the engine sitting nicely.

As for the radiator/fan problem. The Radiator is 75mm thick, the fan is ~60mm thick. So 135mm. The Max clearance on the front side of the radiator is 45mm. Using an electric water pump still wont give me the clearance I need due to the crank pulley.

I need some really small fans that are max 45mm, and use a water sprayer. Either that, or move the engine back slightly (About 20mm clearance from engine to firewall and use a thinner radiator.

Either way, this combo:

Bugger, nice radiator. '90s style U12 Bluebirds used real thin alloy cores, with plastic tanks, could that buy you the space? They are thin on both front and rear so could buy you some room in front as well. They are quite wide, but very efficient. Or keep the Radiator and fit an L16, they are a sweet engine. (and flick me the FJ :D )

Cutoff the power steering pulley part from the crank. I'm assuming you aren't running power steering?

Then you can get the pulley rebalanced if you think it's an issue.

Move the engine back,( now that you have new mounts it's the best time to do it),shorten your driveshaft,

then come up to Ashhurst and see our solution to the "radiator" problem and bob's your uncle.

Hopefully you will like your uncle bob from then on. But more importantly, your radiator WILL fit.

How far away are you from having the FJ running? will be a scary drive
Was it much to have your underseal done?
