Im assuming the stubs axles are standard 1600 so small spline (23.5mm Looking at your vernier)

Companion Flanges must be the large spline (26mm)

This would make sense as they slip over each other but still turn

Do you want to swap the ones you've got for some small spline R30 flanges? I'll whip one off tonight and have a measure up.

If that solves my problem sounds good to me, only thing i do notice there is two different size 3x2 flanges by the looks as well.

These are the R30 ones I removed tonight, PM me if they are going to work for you and we'll work something out.

Inside the lip on the flange is about 116mm, the spline size is around 23/24mm.

Sounds good DJZ Spline is definately fine drop us a PM with what you want for them. (And also if there is the mating housings there also)

I also picked up some more CV shafts last weekend so will run a measure over them tonight, hopefully there is a matching Outer CV Joint Housing to suit the 3x2 PCD among them.

Are these the ones off that car you were parting out? As I'm still after some and possibly axles as well...

Right so a few measure measure again

Datsun 1600 companion flange measures 24mm Internal
Image

CV axles 106mm OD so suit the r30 flanges (The ones I got on the weekend are also the same size)
Image

Large spline flanges (27mm)with 106mm CV
Image

Large spline (27mm) flange next next to an inner cv flange similar to the r31 pictured further up the page.

So to convert a 1600 with the standard stub axles (24mm) need exactly those r30 companion flanges

Some 910's with CV rear ends also had the same flanges.

I have put an r200 long nose lsd in my 510 sedan. I used a r31 turbo 2 way clutch pack lsd, z31 rear hubs, discs and callipers (5 stud), had to source custom bearings for the hubs to fit into the rear arms (saeco). Z31 turbo outer cvs (4 bolt) and custom built rear half shafts machined from hardened steel. I spent endless hours researching to get it all together but the rear end is solid and hooks up real good. I dunno if I could help you but let me know if you need any info..
