Sorry, but I don't have much to update on project progress unfortunately.
There is a positive though. Wife and I just bought our first house and it has a double garage and sleep out )going to be converted into workshop).

I now have room to work on the car which I plan to do over the summer.

The FJ20ET wiring loom / ECU is all done now ready to install into the car.
Still plenty to do but now I have more space, I just need more money to finish it.

This warms my cold, shrivelled heart.

Looks like a big wall next to you, I bet it keeps out a lot of noise. You still have around 8hrs before you have to go to work, get cracking!

Well done and congratulations.

Just a matter of keeping up motivation now.
No excuses

Well I haven't done any work on the car as I have been busy pouring every cent into getting the house up to scratch and my tech startup.
Things are about to change though for two reasons.

1. I have finally launched the product I have been developing the last 2 years. While I build up interest I will start working some other contracts at the end of August so i will have money to spend on the Datsun.

2. I ripped out the wall in the garage and installed a car hoist.

I should be able to start getting some progress in September.

I don't know if I have posted this before, but buying this house was meant to be. When we moved in, the garage had a sleep out and a wall dividing it. It also had shelves screwed to said wall in the garage.
When I pulled the shelves out, behind it was this:

(of course dylPhil had to photo bomb like a plonker  )

With the wall being removed completely it has been re-hung on the other side of the garage.
