So I got my Lsd diff to today.I'm very happy with it as it only cost me $600 shipped from Japan ($400 for diff $200 for shipping).I'm trying to work out the ratio,It says 48:13 on the crown wheel,Ive worked that out to be 3:69 If that's true that should see a lot lower Rpm's in top gear at 100kph than my normal 4.11:1 diff Right?

Yeah 3.7 sounds about right.
That's a fkn good score!
Your speed per Rpm is easy to calculate.
Engine rpms, divided by 5th gear ratio. (eg .854)
That number is then divided by the diff ratio 3.692.
This figure is multiplied by 3600. (The number of minutes in an hour)
This gives you the number of turns of the rear wheels per hour.
Chalk the tyre/mark the ground. Roll the car one revolution of the wheel. Mark the ground again. Measure how far one turn is.
Multiply that number (eg 1.213m) by the number of turns per hour. Divide that by 1000 to get the number of kms per hour. If your tacho reads right, this method is pretty accurate.
I'm very envious of both your LSD, and the sweet tall ratio.

But I think it only gives a 1:1 gear ratio so 4th gear but should be pretty easy to figure out rpms @ 100kph if you know what ratio your 5th gear is.

Good stuff with the diff, just putting mine in at the moment too.
Judging by the larger flange I assume yours came out of a Crew too?
One thing I found with mine was that the dust cover on the flange that fits my driveshaft had trouble clearing the seal found on later model H190's but works sweet with the older seal, you might be fine but just a heads up

My r200 had that style of seal on the outputs on each side.

So today I changed over the input shaft on my Lsd as the Lsd type had a longer shaft than the open diff. Cleaned the inside and put in new Lsd oil.Now then I spin the input shaft both axles turn the same way....Nice! On Saturday if the weather's good I'll drag out old diff/leaf spring, under seal the car and put in the new diff/leaf springs in.

Fitted this bad boy in today. I didn't bother in fitting a panhard rod as I really did not want to weld into the chassis at this stage. If I really need it I will sort it out later. When I wrecked out that 330 I got some really good parts. Good leaf springs which I have fitted(car now sits lower than before
) The drive shaft that looks like it was reconditioned, Even has grease nipples which I've never see before on a drive shaft. Me and Torb was talking about painting it as well. I have to say this car has come along way since I first got it. I have almost replace every part in this car with new parts. Still waiting to hear back about my motor still.

True I was worried about them getting here undamaged, But the pvc pipe held up
