Requirements to run is a car that is reged or can be (didn't seem a current wof was vital but you may get a closer looking at and told you can't run if clerk of course isn't happy), fireproof overalls, (Welders overalls, not normal nylony ones), helmet and a 1kg fire extinguisher that is securely mounted and accessible to the driver.

So you're certin about not requiring a wof?
Can you pay on the day after being scrutineered? Might almost be less hassle to get tech inspected and have a log book. (so long as manz tech inspction is as non anal retentive as an NZDRA tech.

I would like to run my car but you guys all know how it goes when things are still getting build and modified.

Are Spectators welcome ?

Also I can carry Spares / Gear / tow a trailer if any NZ Datsun Member needs a hand for the day

I spent many track days helping out with bimmersport and getting around meeting the people & seeing the cars is just a fantastic way to spend the day.

Yeah sure about the Wof. Do your breaks work? As long as nothing has gone wrong since your last wof you should be fine. Your car may get a bit closer look Bart, but I think it would be fine from what I have seen. Lancia club is MANZ affiliated but this is not a race or competition day, it's a training day so much more relaxed.
If you have a drag log book it would be pretty sweet I'd think.
If you don't want to take the risk you can pay the extra $20 and not pay till the day.
Spectators are more than welcome. I'll be able to take passengers on the day, you're welcome to come along.
Agreed, great way to meet guys, unfortunately not too many girls though. That said there was one giving an R33 a real thrash at the Honda day.

My car stops every bit as good as it goes. My only concern is it's getting a little bit cancerous. (Otherwise it's pretty tight)
I would dearly love to participate though.

Is rust really structural or more just cosmetic? Must admit your's does look a bit rough around the edges that may draw attn to it, are you rolling on Rakaia cruise? I could have a look then give you another opinion.
