Re: Johns cedric sgle
Hi John, love your work! I look forward to seeing it in the flesh one day
I have a million questions for you relating to my project 130 + vh45
-How do i go about getting a windscreen copied? Who did you deal with? You have to do everything yourself in oz, they just put it in the too hard basket and wont help you
-What steering rack are you running? is it shortened? You crossmember makes the conversion a much easier process! Your bottom arms look about 100mm shorter than factory?
-How the hell did you get that exhaust to fit??? I think i have my motor mounted lower than yours so im closer to the chassis rails.
Do you have any photos of where you ran your exhaust? I have been eyeing up the hole where your collectors are as a good place for my pipe to run.
How did you go for a gearbox mount? Mine bolted to the stock 1968 3 speed box mount! I moved the crossmember back about 70mm i think.
Any information you could share would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Johns cedric sgle
Trikes dont turn, they slide.just get it as sideways as you can and they'll go round any corner. The trikes were doing 1:38 laps around this track, the 450cc quads were doing 1:33's.

Heres whats been holding up Nick_ms 1200 lately. Thanks for the HUGE effort man
We desinged it to fit with the least amount of chassis cutting as possible hence the mad top arms.Inboard struts are a must coz if your gonna do this youve gotta make it as difficult as possible right?Drawings will be sent away tomorrow,I hope theres no major issues coz I've already built half the bloody thing.
Ive done most of the machining so hopefully once I get the all clear it will go together pretty quickly
R200 LSD 4.1 thanks DJZ
