haha almost burnt my car down today haha! good times! there was a loose power connection in the engine bay which i connected properly (it gave power to inside of car) and then it started smoking crazy and i quicky whipped a battery terminal off and by that time there was smoke eveywhere and quite a few wires had the insulation burnt off and were glowing red! i'll fix that up tomoro and then if everything still sucks arse im going to take it into the shop and get them to fix it!

i've given up on the wiring for the time being! im just on the search for a 1200 complete loom to transplant into my coupe! anyway today i got some paint and did my bonnet, it came out ok for my first real paint job on something! i will post pics later!

have done a few little things of the last few days, primered the underside of the bonnet and bootlid, will primer door jams soon too. then i will paint all door jams and undersides of things then take it into the shop to get a good job done on the top of everything!

also the plan is to make a whole new loom now, i just need to try and find a place to buy 50m rolls or similar or wiring!

Dont buy one roll of wire!
If you use all one colour, fault finding in future will be IMPOSSIBLE.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

haha dont worry mate, i will be labelling each wire, and having them labelled through chockblocks too. i found a rewire your car "how to" on the net and and it looks pretty good! cheers

PLEASE do not use a single chock block in your cars wiring at any point.
