stretched tyres

hey guys iv got 13*7 minilites on my 120y coupe with 215/50 eagers on them that proberly wont pass there next warrent. so i was wondering are my rims wide enough for that stretched tyre look and what width tyre would i be looking at using?

Streched tyres are for flat peakers.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

175 50 13s wont be stretched they will be flush. They are the best tyres to get though. If you want a little bit of stretch you will need some 155 60 13s. Good to see you getting away from gay balloon tyres :deadhorse:

Erin cherry is gettin 165/65/13 on her 13x7 Hoshinos this week for the rakaia cruise. They should look sweet and she aint no flat peaker

thanks for the comments. would you be able to put some pics up of erins wheels chriss would like to know what they look like. the 215's make it feel like its glued to the road though would it have less grip with the narrower tyres?

I'll convert when you can buy drag tyres in low profiles. Stretch tyre feinds are either into drifting, or own cars that don't have enough power to experience traction issues. You can build for show, or you can build for go. make your choice and stick with it.
