Have been told by an A-series man (Bartman), that this is a genuine GX head and manifolds. It has double valve springs, and the exhaust manifold has 2 outlets
A-Series oval intake port head and double valve springs
Oval port twin flat top SU carbs air filter/box and manifold with linkages
Exhaust manifold
all stock....no mods
what are they worth???
I am thinking that all proceeds from this sale will go to a worthy charity (the NZ Datsun club charity lol)

Re: A-Series oval intake port head and manifolds + SU carbs
I would say the head would be worth $250-300 (Easily!)
And the manifold carbs and airbox would have to be worth at least $300. That said someone in OZ would prolly pay way way more for them. I might ask at 1200.com......

Re: A-Series oval intake port head and manifolds + SU carbs
this lot will not be sold to anyone that is a non-datsun club member....and definately not out of the country.
I got them from a guy at work who bought them about 20 years ago, and has been in storage since.
he gave them to me for nothing, so keeping in the spirit of hooking up your mates, I would like to sell it to a club member in NZ who wants them to use on their car, and get some money in the club bank acc.........maybe help get some more goodies for the club BBQ trailer?

It will bolt straight onto any a series motor, BUt there may be an oiling mod required to use this head on a post 74 (mid dizzy) engine. I know for sure that you gotta alter the oil gallery to use a post 74 head on a pre 74 (front dizzy) engine.
