1600 rear drum brakes
I just changed the pads in the rear drums on my 1600 and was wondering how far to wind the threads on the top of the back of the drum do you wind it to where it was before changing them or is there a certain point ?

with the handbrake cable backed off fully, you wind the adjusters to push the shoes out towards the drum until you get a 'scuffing' sound, so the drums still turn but with slight resistance. then adjust the handbrake cable until you get the desired handbrake leverage, between 4-8 clicks i think.
