Brand loyalty
why is it i love my datsun's but for a daily driver i only drive toyota's, dream japanese classic to own is an ae86 and cant wait to pickup the AE101 FX-Gt tomorrow i've just purchased. Surely as a good datsun nut i should have at least looked at a pulsar/silvia etc etc??? am i a closet toyota nut batting for the other team but leading a secret life???!!!!

Toyota dailys are mean they go forever.
I used to have a N14 GA16 Pulsar hatch, I miss that car it was so comfortable, light, handled awesome and had a decent amount of power.
MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the 96 model 2 door Mirage I have now!!!

im a toyota fiend myself but would rather spend my time and money on my datsuns. if money was no object i would own many old datsuns, toyotas, mitsis, hondas, subarus, european cars etc etc

i love both ive got datsuns toyotas and even my still got my first car an eb1 civic i love all japas pre 85ish

yeah i have a "if i won lotto" garage which includes a lot of rear wheel drive japanese classics (and a few fwd)

Nothing wrong with Toyotas, I can see why you like them. I like the fact that Datsuns seem to be fairly underappreciated by the general population.
It means that you see a lot less dattos sporting massive chromes and camo interiors = a good thing.
Sadly can't say the same for old corollas, coronas, etc.

Seems to be a pretty common thing this like for toyotas amoungst datto owners...had my toyotas and loved them.. love my dattos more tho, thort id get the best of both worlds though and thats why the unbreakable little 4age is going in the 1200 haha
