dellorto sidedrafts vs dellorto down drafts

i scored myself a set of drla 48mm dellorto downdarfts there choked to 34mm.
and i was wondering whats the pros and cons of downs?
and the pros and cons of sides?
any advice would be mint

with downdrafts, the charge has to change direction before it can enter the cylinder.
So they aren't quite as performance as sidies. They still work well and sound good though.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

the cost me a12 good deal??? they hav never been used and is there any other pros and cons

In dunno if you can get an off the shelf manifold for them, so I guess that would be a con.

Con: they dont look as cool
Pro: you can keep it looking original under the hood...but with more power, sleeper :burnout:

not much angle it will upset float levels

Are you gonna remove the efi in favour of carbs Toby?
I'd stick with the EFI if I were you. Plus it makes the implimentation of forced induction easier later on.
