yeap..Im going to make a lada s/w with L16b, youre thoughts on a lada in the midst of a datsun cruise?

maybe im nuts but I like the idea, ive always liked the shape of the lada, go for it mate, and its your car so dont worry about what anyone else thinks

First off, welcome to the site!. L16 would be different but if I were you I would just go straight L20b (2 ltre version of the same motor) as it will give you just enough extra ponies for your effort at the same price.

I do remember the red car was on trade me ages ago with datsun running gear??

Ladas are Fiats anyway - and old school fiats are ubber cool.

the one up top is the one off trade me, i bought it, show ponied it, took it up the beach and did endless doughys and now have stripped any re-usable parts off it and deregd it, and now want s/w one to do more or less the same thing to...would love l20b but beggers (at this point in time) cant be choosers, not to mention datsun engines are pretty rare, does anyone know of a good set of carbs for the l16b, keep in mind its ported polishe head, lumpy cams and extractors... would be much obliged :thumbsup:
