The disco B's rust is significantly worse then I had first predicted/examined. Then there are the electrical problems...Break for parts if there is interest or knock off the whole car for what it owes me ideally. $600ono or $750 rolling in em old 14x6 SSR MK1's.
Them SSR's.

what a shame to wreck this sedan, in such an honest and restorable state.
electrical problems are no problem.

Both sills are rotted near half up, both rear junctions will need three layers of steelwork
Passenger corner will require five layers of steel replaced, then there is the work around the windscreen which is lesser stuff.
Two doors would be better in the scrap bin, one savable the other is OKish. Rust throughout the gutterrails and the general issues that go with datto bulkheads. Easy 20 hours with a decent welder and need the tools to shape steel and then I lack the patience for a 'quick fix' car. Also car has live number plates but not the ID tag. But really where is the choke myself option...
Cut good parts out of this, weld to coupe=Win.

Would be a shame to see it die, but if it saved another it would be worth it. Sucks that it did that crazy electrical stuff...did you find out why that happened?

Haven't sourced the problem but have been advised Voltage reg or bad earth. Earth appears firmly planted.
