R200 flange width??

Does anyone have a shortnose R200 lying around that they can measure for me?I need to know the width between the flanges.Any help would be super.

hey john how does 315 grab ya .......that diff you got there looks like r180 ....my r180 shortnose measures 300

Hi Shane.
That sounds good.you've got a keen eye,that is a R180 and does measure 300mm.We need the width for modeling up the IRS I'll put a pic of the model up on my ride thread once finished.Nick is doing some killer work on it

John, is it worth using an R230 from a Z32 for extra size and strength?

Guessing there is plenty of room under there.

Would the R230 have as many options for aftermarket LSD units?
Just rock a MIG-oneway and be done with it!!!

R200 have so many easy/cheap options and i'm not gonna have zillions of HP so I think the R230 might be overkill.

R200 will be up to it, beivieve it or not we're pressed for space cause some nancy doesn't want to cut anything haha

now i need help r32 gtrs have 30 spline axles with 6 hole flange and r200 diffs have 29 spline with 6x2 hole flange .......is there a model off nissan that had 30 spline with the 6x2 hole flange ?????

Apparently some Z32 twin turbos have them, but they are R230s. Don't know if the splines would be the same diameter though.
