Re: Z18ET Help
how much down on power?
sounds like it could probably be your cam timing?

Re: Z18ET Help
Is it driveable?
When I built my first L20b, I had it 1 tooth out on cam timing, and you'd be suprised how much difference it makes!
It's kinda hard to check the cam timiming 100% with the front timing cover on, as you need to line up a little mark on the crank......but if you can get it as close to TDC as you can, then you should be able to see if your out or not on timing.

Re: Z18ET Help
thanks mate yep sure enough 1 tooth out... I managed to use pry bars, welding wire, cableties etc and changed it one tooth on the cam without removing the front cover it now runs as it should... plenty of power to the point it will spin the the wheels in second when it comes on boost... stoked

I'm trying my best to get it all sorted... still have full exterior panel and paint and compliance to get which may be a bit tricky considering it has aftermarket seats, modified engine, and its lowered... do you have to get it certed before or after compliance???
