Is it just the photo angle of the front or have you like improved the look by 1000%?

I agree with you, and think 1010% !classicdat wrote:Is it just the photo angle of the front or have you like improved the look by 1000%?
Well, here is the next modification I tackled I got around to lowering the rear of the car. The stance was really bothering me, I ended up making a set of lower block's as I was not happy with any of the kit's you can buy . I did not want to over do it so I used some 2" x 2" tubing cut to length, a hole was drilled in the bottom and bolt with a bit of tubing welded to it to make it the right size to fit in the axle. I made this to bolt in to make it adjustable if I wanted to add up to another 1/2 " of shim on top if I want to go a little lower. The rest was pretty straight forward, I sourced four 2 " longer U-bolt's and everything fit the first time. Here are some photo's of the job.
Here is were I started ,
Here is a bad picture of the blocks,
Here it is after,
It has settled a little more since the photo, but here it is after the first test drive
I am very happy with how it turned out, and no I have never lived in NZ but would love to visit someday.

Then it was time to work on my fender/guard, I got the car with it in pretty poor condition.
Here is what I started with,
Took me awhile to find a replacement, but here it is.
Repaired a couple small dent's, and applied a little temporary sealer color. .
Finally here it is on the car waiting for some new international corner lights.
That's if for now.

IRS would be great in one of these and they did come that way in the SSS model, but we did not get them in the US. But we did get wagon's here, and they were available in Mexico but trying to find a nice one is pretty hard to do.crustywhip wrote:IRS in one of these would be so cool, I love it. They seem to drive them into the ground, here are a couple of pictures of them from Mexico.
Here is a wagon,
But they mostly look like this,
