L26 is weeping oil from between block and head, is running a little hotter than usual too... figure I'd better be proactive and do something about it.
As far as headsets go, is genuine the best bet (if available) or are there som worthwhile aftermarket alternatives? Preferably something with all seals, gaskets etc as I want to do valve stem seals while I have the head off.
Should probably do the camchain tensioner and a waterpump while I'm at it...
Thanks for the advice

Re: L6 headsets
There's nothing wrong with the ACL or NZ Gaskets head sets, I've used several of them on different motors.
Doing the chain tensioner requires removal of the front cover, you'll want to get a timing cover set as well and be very careful taking it off because if it's been on there for a long time you'll probably root the front of the sump gasket then you have to take the sump off too.

Re: L6 headsets
Talk to BNT. The permaseal/nzgaskets set work fine.
I'm sure you could PM birdflu and get a quote for genuine. But that would likley cost more, for no real benefit.
