Im thinking about lowering the compression of my L18 im doing for turbo application and by the look of it the L20B pistons are the way to go.
So if anyone has a nice tidy good condition set please let me know.
Thanks
Brett

i thought l20b and l18 pistons were the same? just the l20b was stroaked and had an open combustion chamber?

Re: WTB L20B Pistons
Na apparently not i believe L20B has 11.63cc of dish and L18 has 4.36.
L20B pistons with L18 crank rods and block should give a lower comp ratio which will be good for 2 reasons.
A: I plan on a T25 rotary muffler.
B: I have to skim head as none of my heads are either A original or B mint on the mating surface. So works against me with the turbo.

Priced up new ones today.
Did you know that the L18/L20B pistons come in 4 different compression ratios.
.9mm dish
1.3mm dish
2.3mm dish
3mm dish
Just if anyone was interested to know.
