Hi Guys
on the Z31 forums there is a set of the Z31 full round 5 stud front hubs for sale, these are the full round type from an 89 Nissan Z31.
NOT the pentagon type, these will work on most Datsun front spindles with large bearing hubs, and need no machine work to fit R32 big brake rotors.
If anybody definitely wanted a set I could go about trying to get then to NZ for you.
I imagine they wont be around for long though, post here if interested.

You can actually still buy these new from websites in the states. And they aren't that expensive from memory.

Are you sure? They only fitted this type of hub to Z31's for 2 years I think and they are nearly impossible to find, you aren't thinking about S13/14 hubs?

the Z31 late style Hubs are Rare enough in the USA and to my knowledge nobody has any stock or reproductions of them. If they did exist they would have definitely been posted up on Z31perfermance.com by now.
They don't even pop up on the US Z forums that often, this is why i had so much machine work done to my set of pentagon style ones.
I would have kept them for myself but I CBF swapping over my brand new bearings and studs so somebody else might as well make use of a set.
I can possibly get more sets as they pop up, just depends really.

Yeah sorry guys, been trying to find the link to confirm if they are pentagons or late models but I'm unable to find the site.
I still have the 5 stud hubs Nick & John machined up for me if that are of interest. Basically a model was taken off a 910 hub but converted to 5 stud, which should be identical to 5 stud z31 hubs.

Surely it wouldn't be too hard to have a pair machined up from a billit from scratch?
I'm not a machinests arsehole, but I have a grasp on how it's done. (I also have a lathe big enough to do the job at my disposal too)

Well its funny you mention that Batman, the goodness inside me was doing to do a measure up and draw some cad plans so that anybody here could have their hub machined from scratch if so desired.Bartman wrote:Surely it wouldn't be too hard to have a pair machined up from a billit from scratch?

I Can see a couple of issues doing it from Billet Alloy - none of these are a big deal or actual problem but i do expect they will put people off from having them made,
1) Time on the machine's is going to get pretty lengthy unless you setup a CNC
2) Material Cost wont be cheap
3) Anything alloy will need to be anodized or it will end up looking like shit after no time at all.
4) Fitting/Removing bearings is going to need to be a care full process as it would not take much
to ruin one of the surfaces with a hammer, punch or whatever.
They would be Bling & they would be expensive, i will post my drawings up on NZdatsun once i actually do them and if any individual wants to go and have a hub made they now have that option.
