Bede and Blair's little trip

Post by Blair »

Bede ended up buying that 1200, I said I would help out in anyway I could. So off to Nelson with the Truck and car trailer....

Its a nice and straight 1200 Deluxe. With all the badges etc. Bloody good score. Thanks to Matt for coffee's and etc.... ;) ;) ;)

A total bonus for both of us was going for a ride in this.

And yes it is being used. You can just see some grass on the wheel well.

On the way home it snowed. As we both enjoy abit of the white fluffy stuff, just had to stop and take a snap. So that just topped off a fucken good day for both of us.

Thanks to all those who played there part and helped out.

Also we saw another 1200. It was parked in Stoke out side the Countdown supermarket. Was there most of the day......

If it turns out half as good as the coupe, it will be sweet. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Looks like a great basis and I like the choice of engine/mods and wheels.

Got a question for you, don't suppose you know the measurements of the bonnet struts you used on the 1600 by any chance?

I want to get a set for my old mans 16, but not sure what length will work. Even a link to where you bought them would be great.
