WTB Bumper Bolts

Post by unlimitedpower »

Hey im after lots of these so i can get my bumpers back on my car.
So if anyone has any let me know. Happy to buy a couple here and there so that i can make up a set. Just have to be in good enough condition so when i buff them up with the autosol they look like new and the threads are good.

Let me know what ya got.
If anyone knows where to buy these new i would certainly love to know.

This is really no use to you but I was in a shop a few months back and sore a pile of these on the counter and I said to myself ahhh that is where you get them from I will remember this for future reference and yeah well I have absolutely no idea where said shop is..................sorry.

But did just ask my father in law who is a panel beater and he suggested trying R A Johnson http://www.raj.co.nz/fasteners.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; chart e has the bumper bolts on it.

Are you after the little M6 bolts? If so, Repco and Super Cheap Auto sell them in the Champion packs in store. If you're talking plastic clips and that, the place above is where I've got mine from in the past

J.A.Russel no longer have the bumper bolts ill look into the champion option.
Guy at J.A told me that people are getting steel dome head bolts and getting them chromed.

I will have a look in the garage at the weekend, I am bound to have a couple of spares. we are taling the M6 ones about 15mm long, maybe 12mm diameter head with the formed square shank behind to lock into the square punchings in the bumper ah? I will put aside what I need for my car, and any surplus ones you are welcome to.

You sir are a top man. Most of mine snapped when i removed bumpers to strip down car.
I have a few but no where near enough. Never figured they would be so hard to find new so didn't worry bout it at the time hence why a few broke.
