Car Carpet

Post by 85_Z31 »

So I am in need of some car Carpet

I am not interested in expensive molded stuff.

At this stage I only want to do the boot / hatch area of the Z which is completely flat, and maybe make up a couple of shaped floor mats.

After much goggling I can't find much, and even a trip to spotlight fabrics came up with nothing useful.

Any Idea's team ?

Rare Spares do different types, they have some fairly competitively priced loop pile, but I guess your car is too mod and flash for that. I guess they will have cut pile too, not sure about the disco era "Shag" your 300 would have though :P

It didn't actually have any super lush carpet

Of all the places i have looked I found a roll of Rubber backed carpet from the warehouse that matches the original carpet very close in terms of feel and colour.

it was dirt cheap so i got enough to do the hatch area.
