Top of South Island Cruise - 1-2 June (Queens Birthday) 2013

The Plan is to have a cruise around the top of the South Island at Queens Birthday Weekend.
We are looking for ideas of places to go and things to see/do, at this stage there is a loose idea of Starting in Christchurch, cruising to Nelson and visiting the WOW car collection, staying the night and heading to Blenheim the next day. It would be great to have a couple of get together with the locals as we get around the place and have them join us as we go.
Maybe this could be a Nelson meet and a Blenheim meet with Cruises from where ever to get there, and a big convoy in-between.

Im keen provided I can get the Datto back on the road by then, and organise time off

Still unsure as to getting the time off, But I will now be in need of spare seat to reside in (Gas money to the owner of said seat of course), as I had a little mishap, and 'Annie' my 910 is no longer with us...
