I will have minimal space up front when the A15 ive got is fitted up as its got gilmore style pulleys.
I would like to keep the fan mounted to the crank pulley rather than remote electric setup.
I was wondering if anyone on here could fill me in on on which late model ride i could raid a radiator from that would have the in/out-lets in the right size and place.
My nx radiator has it written on it what it's out of, think its a b14 which like nick said is probably same as n14. Am going up to my storage shed today so will check it out.
Aarons 1200 turbo runs a Subaru radiator, but its not a wrx one, its out of something smaller like a leone or something , the 3 times ive been to pick a part looking for one they didn't have any, though plenty of the bigger ones, but the pipes are to big on those.
Cheers for the feed back guys, fark i love this site, i will hit the regular auto wreakers, good to know what im lookin for.
On another note the ute flew through WOF today, gdgd.
I was talking to my Wof guy about brake upgrades and he was saying that with his race cars instead of using big money brake conversions all he does is use the cars standard brake setup and get some willwood race pads and scribe onto them using his old standard brake pads as a template and cut and trim the willwood pads to fit. You can weld on extra lugs if needed. He competes against cars with big budget brake kits and says its all good, tho anything bigger than a 5 lap race at ruapuna is pushing it. He said the bulk of the performance comes from the pad. To get semi good competition pads for standard calipers (if you can find them) costs a bomb for something that is often of lower quality.
