Diff for 1200

I'm looking for a new diff for my 1200 sedan.
When I bought the car, it came witha modified
Corona diff with odd spacers, 4x120 studs,
Shortened axles etc...
Suffice to say, it's a nightmare.
Any advice as to what diff will bolt straight in
To the sedans mounting points and will have
A good ratio in regards to matching up to a slightly
Worked a12 with a 310 5 speed gearbox?

H165 is a popular upgrade option (from a 1200 ute). I have an H165 which I plan to bolt up to my 1200 sedan (apparently ready to bolt in). I will then have a spare factory H145 if you wanted that (depending on your timing requirements) as a straight bolt in job? H165 I believe requires a shorter driveshaft.

Shock mounts are different on an H145 sedan diff from the H165 Ute diff so these would need to be Fabricated or somehow attached. There are a few variations in ratio depending on what you source your head from, S110 Sylvias ran 165s as well, and their ratio would be better than a ute one. With an over drive the 4.1 might work well, depending on your overdrive ratio. Std 1200 is 3.9:1 I think
