Museum/ meeting place

Post by kartboy »

Was talking to Tony Morrison (Owner of Canary Furniture) tonight and he has bought the old wool scour in woolston and is opening up a Boys Toys type museum/meeting place.

People can also store vehicles there for $30 per week which gives you 24/7 access with the use of the billiards/pool table so if you want to take some mates down to talk shit and have a couple of beers after work you can.

think he is setting up a bar to.

Also has the view of car clubs being able to have meetings there to. Has heaps of chairs there etc.

He has given me his details so we can contact him.

If anyone is keen I could organise a time that we could go have a look around at what cars are there and have a few beers.(couple of ferraris, Porsche 911, some cortina's I think etc, about 20 cars there at the moment). Has room for a couple hundred cars.

Oh crazy, My friends and I used to rent a section of this place for our own projects and storage a few years ago. Thats where the Escort was bare metalled and about 10 Old toyotas were built. Was awesome!
