1200 sedan strut conversion

Post by Tony.buchler »

I have a bit of a mess to tidy up. Currently
I have mazda 626 struts and hubs in my car
(Or so I'm told-as the guy who built it can't
Really remember. Stud pattern on the hub is
Shite and I wanna change it. What struts and
Hubs etc do people usually use on a 1200
Upgrade?

Have you looked at getting the 626 hubs drilled to datsun/nissan stud pattern?

Unless you are looking at changing lower arms or getting into some moding and certing of stuff 1200 or 120y with S13 breaks would be quite the norm.

Found this pic in your build thread.
Looks like a good set-up, low, smaller prelude shocks, nice big discs.

To be honest I don't really want to change
The set up that's in the car now but I can't
See how to change the stud pattern (will post
Pic of the hub tomorrow).
I'm trying to get the car certed and want to
Put star sharks or something similar on the
Car

This is the hub I have. I'm pretty sure it's off a late 70's accord

Doesn't look like I can redrill the studs.

Were all accords fwd? I know that doesn't help sorry. Can you fit different hubs to the stubs?

Not sure mate. I don't wanna waste my time
Trying to make this work when I can just throw
A S13 set up on it ;)
Will try the hubs on these struts before
I pull them out but don't like my chances
