Think it was for sale on trademe a year or so back....
Might be ok if you have plates and papers lying around doing nothing.......

That is what I was thinking...... Would have to revert though to match the new plates and tags
i almost bought this car earlier in the year but luckily missed out on the sale, this poor fella paid 10k for it and it needs another 10k spent on repairing the rust and various body damage. would be a mint car once its fixed. I've got the damage reports on it if any 1 wants them
Yea it's a SSS. It's worth fixing for sure. Bit of a shame the guy that bought it was told it was immaculate and won't need any repairs to be legal . He must have got quite a shock when they gave him the report
Well I took a punt on it.
Drove it home yesterday.
For the money it's awesome.
Yes it needs some repairs but lots of good work gone into drivetrain.
Plan is to redo everything and revin. Already certed for engine and susp etc. but will clean a few things up there too.
Just some time and a welder!
Pretty happy with the purchase all round though.
Will be selling my blue 510 soon. Another CA18det project but think the SSS is a better place to put time and $$

Congrats, hope it works out. Keep us posted as another Datsun returns from the brink, in the hands of an enthusiast.
