Nissco repair panels?

Post by sr1600 »

Need a pair of rear quarter repair panels for my 1600 , so have found the Nissco ones on ebay.

Anyone dealt with them in the past? issues? panel fit?

Am planing to get a hold of them direct, but wondering if anyone has had issues in the past?

Hi Mark,

Both of our rear quarters are these.

No issues with them but the steel is a different thickness but a good panel beater shouldn't have a problem with that.

Have a look in our photos including the build thread, I think there are some pix of them being installed by our panel beater.

Also used their rear taillight panel and the rear beaver panel (below the taillight) panel.

Cheers,
Chris and Bernie.

G'day Mark,
I have brought a few of these panels in for people. Randy at nissco asked me to be his nz distributor a few years ago after I bought some for my car. Not sure what you pay for them on eBay but if you want a price pm me, I brought the last pair in December and the exchange rate hasnt changed much since then.

Cheers morgan

I ordered a set from randy yesterday so I should have them late next week hopefully. The car is sitting up at taupo auto refinishers and is all sealed up with epoxy now, so onto the panelbeating stage now.

Cost a few dollars but end of the day should stay tidy for another 15 years and i cant fricken wait to get the old girl back
