That one was only in the 'Tour' which is basically a fast drive around the roads which are then raced as special stages by the 'real' Targa cars. They are limited to no more than 160km/hr.
There was a 240z in the real Targa with a L28 bored to round about 3 litres and it went real well. The 'real' Targa cars are not allowed to exceed 200km/hr.
Chris and I were support crew for one of the family but sadly he thinks that the answer is in more C.C's. A 2013 302 Boss Mustang Laguna Seca puting out about 560rwbhp. Last year he had a 350z supercharged but wanted the mustang this year instead. He had a little "whoopsie" which did minor damage and he managed to finish the rally with 5th in class.

Yeah took a video and photos of this beautiful beast too. Was so nice. Gutted I only caught the last day

Thanks Mike. It attracted a lot of interest where ever we went and sounded fantastic. It went very fast and handled well once the electric power steering problem was sorted. (Cause of the 'off road' episode).

But I still miss the 350z which went really well and you could hear it coming once the supercharger spooled up..like a spitfire..And it was from the RIGHT family. (Datsun).
