To be honest I never even knew about these old bigger styles until I came across this one, love it though!

Needs more low in the back, this is with two people sitting on the boot.

Ok Christmas and holiday are over, time to get back to work on my beast. Few more issues now, pretty much won't start and move itself, very smokey. Think maybe new seals and rings? Who is a good person to take it to to figure out what is wrong?

Am going to test the compression first to see what that says. Does anyone know what it's meant to be?

Not off the top of my head.
but the important bit is to do it with the engine warm. And hold the throttle wide open while you're testing it.
They should all be without 10psi or so of each other. To check how worn the rings are, after the test, squirt some clean motor oil from an oil can in the through the spark plug hole. The oil will improve the seal, and if it's worn the oil should make the reading higher.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

after test driving this for you, I would be surprised if the issue is rings etc, could just need a basic tune if its been sitting for a while, that motor ran like a swiss watch, and was very tempted to buy it myself if you hadn't.

Thanks guys, I'll attempt it tomorrow but engine hasn't been staying on so might be tricky to warm it up to get it done. i feel like it's something little but I don't know what to look for!
