help with wheel size

Post by Tony.buchler »

Hey all. I'm importing a set of rims from Jp.
Anyone able to tell me what offset and tyre would
Be needed to tuck a 14x7 over an S13 disc and calliper.
Low will be made to suit later and guard rolled. If recommended to run 14x6.5 then that's probably going to happen.

http://Www.willtheyfit.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; has a visual display you can play with offsets and sizes of tyres. Also shows in out of strut sapce and guard etc
vr6 idea still siting there, much research in the plumbing before I commit.

Shows factory wheel specs for s13, using 5*14 with 40offset plug that into will they fit as a base to do any comparisons. Hope that helps

14x6.5 +4 and 14x7 +10 fit comfortably inside the front guards and over S13 brakes, using 185/55/14 tyres.
But... it depends on the inner design of the wheel as to whether you may get contact with the brake caliper against the inside surfaces of the wheels spokes.
It really depends on the fitment look you want and whether you want to pump/lip/roll guards for clearance.

Cool man. Thanks for the info, I'm sure if I track down wheels to the size you suggest that I'll be able to make it work for me. Worst case scenario is I change my brake set up lol thanks again
