1200 Wiring Issues

Guys,
Murphy's law- car booked in for a WOF tomorrow after being off the road for months with a front end rebuild and after hooking up the horn the damn thing refuses to work!
If I run a wire to the battery it works.
The fuses in the fuse box all look good.
Nothing doing at the steering wheel horn button in the way of power.
And I haven't been fiddling with anything in the wiring dept.
Any ideas of where to look?

IS the connection at the brush under the steering wheel dirty or worn. Possibly though it is the relay playing up, although it should still supply to the wheel I think, this is where I'd look after checking the brush at the steering wheel.

Hi Vaughan,
The steering wheel wiring appears to be fine. I'm pretty sure that I've got a spare relay at work so will try that.
