October Datsun Relevance?

Noticed while ordering parts this month, that theres a heavy Datsun model presence.
eg.
on Thursday 1/10/09, our orders are placed as 110
so 110, 210, 310, 410, 510 ,610 ,710 ,810 ,910.

Gives me a little giggle, and this is an almost pointless post!

how do you differentiate from an order made from 1 year to another???

our dates at work are wierd too.......today would be written as "091006"
mostly so that when files are dated on the PC, they are listed in order properly

We order so much of the same shit so often from Toyota that we never really need to look back a year. The 610 is meerly an order number and the Invoice will have the date and shit on it.

For anything other than Toyota stuff, we use wee Purchase Order Forms, each counting upward and following on from the last, eg. upto 4497 so far..almost finished that book and the 4501+ book is waiting
These are always referred back to, and are really nessisary to be co-related!
