Panelbeater and painter required for a Datsun 1200 rebuild

Post by fz1064 »

Hi
I am trying to find a panelbeater and painter for 1971 Datsun 1200 coupe restoration.
I have had this car in storage inside under cover since 1998. There are a few small rust areas, but nothing major that I can see.
Some have a bit old bog that needs to be removed and repaired.
The car will also need a re-paint back to its original tan colour, the inside wouldnt need to be done.
I'm not looking at turning this into a show car, I just want to get it back on the road again without having to spend heaps of $$$$, if thats possible.
So at this stage I'm open to offers and quotes etc
Someone based in the greater Auckland area would be ideal, but I could transport the car a little afield further if needed.
I can supply some photos if that helps.
Cheers

I use Grant at GT Refinishers for work on all of my cars. He is very good at what he does, and its at a good price.

Link to his website: http://gtrefinishers.co.nz/

As you can see, he has worked on a heap of older cars too, including Datsuns.

If you contact him, tell him you know me (Mark Charlesworth) and he will look after ya.

Cheers
