Datsun 1200 shifter hole size

Post by Nick »

Hi just wondering if anyone could measure the gear shifter hole in a manual 1200. My coupe was originally an auto which has a larger rectangular hole. I would like to make it round so a gear lever boot would fit it.

Also where is the best places to buy replacement rubber parts for 1200s? I'm after a coupe boot rubber and of course a shifter boot.

Cheers,
Nick

I got one from Thailand a little while ago, but got a box of stuff to save the freight.

Try Scott at Cockram Nissan for the Boot and things like the bonnet stops etc very well priced.
